Introduction

Meaning

Authoritarian management is a type of management in which all powers and authority are concentrated in the hands of a single leader or administrator. Decisions are taken by the head of the institution without consulting teachers or staff, and strict obedience is expected.

In this system, rules, regulations and discipline are emphasized, and subordinates are required to follow instructions without questioning.

Authoritarian management may be suitable in situations where discipline is a major concern, but it is generally not preferred in modern educational institutions.


2. Democratic Management

Meaning

Democratic management is a system in which authority and responsibility are shared among administrators, teachers and staff. Decisions are taken through discussion, cooperation and mutual understanding.

This type of management emphasizes human relations, respect for individuals and collective decision-making.

3. Dynamic / Creative Management

4. Laissez-Faire Management

Merits of Laissez-Faire Management
